Tesa 50250 Cut Stop Plus is a highly-tensilised polypropylene tape with a internationally unique backing that is scored in longitudinal direction (tesa patent). This special treatment of the backing results in a very high tear resistance and tear strength, making it very robust against vertical breaks. Also, the strong synthetic rubber adhesive ensures excellent adhesion. Intelligent tesa technology and innovative raw materials give the tape double the tensile stiffness of standard strapping tapes. The tape concept combines superior tensile strength with excellent flexibility and bend resistance (in contrast to glass fiber tapes).
Main Applications
The product is especially recommended for the reinforcement of various cardboard handle types (e.g. side hole handles).
Further applications could include bundling and strapping of heavy goods, securing pallets and reinforcing of shipping cartons.
